Veta Gorner is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist and printmaker.
She is known for her mastery of etching, silkscreen and lithography, often combining freehand drawing and digital manipulation to reinvent classical printmaking methods for contemporary expression.
Her studio – now housed in a restored 19th-century barn near Stamford – serves as both workshop and laboratory, where she explores themes of perception, presence, and the silent architecture of human thought.
Gorner is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (elected Associate in 2014, Full Fellow in 2016), a recognition of her technical skill and creative contributions to the field. She is now undertaking a full-time postgraduate (MRes) study in Philosophy and Theory of Art at Central Saint-Martins UAL (graduating 2026).
